Boot Camp for New Dads
You and your partner are going to have a baby. You are about to embark on a journey that will last the rest of your life. Do you have any questions, concerns or problems? Are you feeling scared or unsure? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are not alone. Since the beginning of time, every new dad started out facing these same questions, concerns and problems. But you can start preparing now for what will undoubtedly be the adventure of a lifetime: fatherhood.
Boot Camp For New Dads is a workshop designed to address all of your questions and help take the edge off. In over 150 locations across the country, fathers who were once in your shoes have returned as veteran dads to give advice based on their recent experiences. Veteran dads also bring along their new babies, giving new recruits an opportunity for some hands-on experience. Every situation is unique and lots of choices need to be made, so we strive to provide a range of perspectives to help you make informed decisions.
The Fort Collins Women's Clinic is proud to be the first in our area to offer Boot Camp for New Dads. Boot Camp is for men only - no females over six months old allowed. When men facing a common challenge get together, a locker room feeling of solidarity develops and we talk frankly about our experiences and what's on our mind. And with all the change and stress involved in becoming a father, information you can trust is essential.
Cost for the workshop is $25. Boot Camps are held every 4-6 Weeks.
